September 10, 2004 - The IBC started today at the Rai Exhibition and Congress Centre in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). At 12.00 the doors opened for public. It was busy and there are a lot of exhibitors at the IBC 2004.
Apple booth
The booth of Apple was in hall 7 (lot 7.621 / 7.900). The booth was nice with a lot of walking space and Apple was providing some demo's about their new Production Suite.
iMac G5
If you didn't see them before, you could watch the 30'' displays (real huge and crisp) and of course the new iMac G5. Because the IBC is mainly business to business related, there was only 1 iMac G5 at the show. No keyboard attached. It was just showing its beauty and keeping its beast (G5 power) inside.

Visit the IBC
You can visit the IBC from 09.30 - 18.00. The last day is September 14. The IBC will end in the afternoon at 16.00.
Visit DeNieuweMacWinkel
DeNieuweMacWinkel is a new big Apple Store in Amsterdam, not far from the IBC. Its is easy to get there from the IBC by tram (number 4). They are specialized in Audio, Server (Xraid/Xsan) and Remote management. They also have a own repair centre (open every Friday in the afternoon). Small repairs are also possible all other days. Visit Apple Centre Machouse Amsterdam
Apple Centre MacHouse Amsterdam is also a new big Apple Store. They are AASP (Apple Authorised service Provider) and have their own service engineers and experts for Publishing, Design, Photo and Audio/Video. On Saturday, September 11th they have special offers for Motion (269 Euro), Production Suite (1349 Euro), LaCie CD Rewriter 52/32/52 Porsche (92 Euro) and a LaCie External FW 250 GB drive (239 Euro).
